I am overwhelmed when someone wants to buy something I made. It is still awkward for me to put a price on things…
But, over the years the prices have found me. I am not emotionally attached to anything that I create. For me; it’s about the process. When I am finished, I move on to the next one and hope that what was just completed lives and breathes on it’s own and builds a relationship outside of me with another. My success as an artist is driven from how many relationships that were built throughout the encounters that the work has with others. I know that I am creating art for my own well being as creating art is my oxygen . Art is my freedom to explore what it means to be alive. Art is my humanity.
